Aromatic cake with cheese - Dana Drobnjak
Aromatic cake with cheese.
- 3 dcl of water
- 20 g of fresh yeast
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 3 tablespoons of oil
- 500 g of flour
- 100 g of grated cheese
- 2 tablespoons of herbs (oregano (basil, rosemary, thyme, cumin))
To coat the scones:
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoons of oil
- sesame and flax seeds for sprinkling
- Put yeast and sugar in lukewarm water, let it stand for 5 minutes, then add oil, salt and flour.
- Knead the dough and let it rise.
- When it has risen, roll it into a 24 x 30 cm square plate, cut it into 6 x 6 cm squares, sprinkle with 100 g of grated cheese and 2 tablespoons of dry herbs.
- Roll each square into a roll and arrange in a circle in a mold with a diameter of 28 cm, previously lined with paper.
- Beat 1 egg with 1 tablespoon of oil, spread on the cake, sprinkle with sesame seeds and flax, leave to stand for 20 minutes and bake at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes
