Banat refrigerator, old Banat dish.
Banat refrigerator, ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 200 g of flour
- 3,5 dl of sour water
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 4 medium medium potatoes
- if necessary, salt
Banat refrigerator, preparation:
- Beat eggs with a wire, add water, flour and salt.
- Mix well so that there are no lumps (the resulting mixture is slightly thicker than pancake mixture).
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin rings.
- Oil a tray, arrange two rows of potatoes, add salt, then pour the pre-beaten dough over the potatoes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees C for about 25 minutes, until golden brown.
