Banat fat cake.

Banat fat cake, ingredients:

  • 1 kg of flour,
  • 1 fresh yeast,
  • glass of milk,
  • a glass of water,
  • salt and fat.

Banat fat cake, preparation:

  • Dissolve the yeast in a little lukewarm milk, and when it has risen, pour in the flour. Add salt and gradually add lukewarm water if necessary to knead a not very hard dough.
  • Roll out the dough with a rolling pin as thin as possible and coat with fat.
  • Fold on all four sides, let it rest for 10-15 minutes, then repeat the process two more times.
  • After that, unfold the cake, put it in a baking tray, prick it with a fork and bake it in a moderately warm oven.
