Grandma's peas - Ivana Buzurović
Grandma's peas - a real lunch, lunch, which we all ate with our family members and which reminds us of childhood. My grandmother taught me this recipe and many others.
Ingredients
- Packing peas
- A head of onion
- Two cloves of garlic
- 1 small potato
- So, pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Chop the onion head and fry it in oil and add the diced meat and stew it until it becomes soft.
Step 2
Add the peas and potatoes, which you have cut into small cubes, and stew them with the meat for a few minutes. Season to taste and add allspice (the best would be fresh, but it can also be dried)
Step 3
Pour water to cover the peas and cook until the peas are cooked. Add finely chopped garlic 10 minutes before turning off the stove. Adjust the thickness to taste, depending on whether you like it more soupy or not. Serve the peas with a seasonal salad.
