Vanilla.
Vanilla, ingredients:
- 250 g butter
- 150 g of sugar
- 400 g of white soft flour
- 1 egg
- 100 g of ground walnuts
- 1 baking powder
- 1 vanilla sugar
- apricot jam for spreading
- powdered sugar for coating
Procedure:
- Combine butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and egg.
- Add walnuts.
- Add a little flour and baking powder.
- Add more flour and combine the mass.
- Continue mixing with your hands.
- The dough should remain soft.
- Let the dough rest for a while.
- Roll out the dough to a maximum thickness of 0,5 cm.
- Cut the dough with a round mold and arrange it in a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Repeat the process with the rest of the dough.
- Bake for 10 minutes at 200 degrees C.
- Remove the vanilla beans from the tray together with the parchment paper.
- Fill vanilla beans with jam and join them while they are still warm.
- Dust with sugar and serve.
Approximate preparation time 60 minutes.
