COMPETITION FOR THE BEST VANILLIC - vanilla - Jelena Nikolić

Vanilla.

Vanilla, ingredients:

  • 500 g flour
  • 250 g of fat
  • 200 g of powdered sugar
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 1 bag of baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 lemon (zest)
  • plum jam
  • powder sugar

Vanilla, preparation:

  • Beat the fat with powdered sugar and vanilla sugar with a mixer, then add eggs, grated lemon peel and flour with baking powder. Add flour gradually and knead a smooth dough.
  • Dust the work surface well with flour and roll out the dough to a thickness of 5 mm.
  • Scoop out vanilla beans with a cup or a mold and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  • Bake vanilla cakes at a temperature of 180 C for about 15 minutes.
  • Cool them, then combine with jam and roll in powdered sugar.
  • Enjoy the taste!
