Yes, you guessed it right - our children are once again in the company of the best and that world class in mental arithmetic – 19.10.2019. at the international competition in Dubai, in which more than 2000 children from 16 countries of the world participated, children from Serbia who learn mental arithmetic according to the Indian BrainObrain method- the dream team made up of eight children from educational centers from Belgrade, Inđija, Zaječar and Niš won as many as 7 awards in the United Arab Emirates: 2 trophies, 2 gold and 3 silver medals.
Along with the winning math team, there were parents, educators and franchisors in the Emirates who cheered and cheered for them. The children from Serbia showed their skills on the abacus, socialized with their peers using the English language, and the whole delegation has fond memories of newly established friendships and positive impressions of different cultures and customs. The team that celebrated the name of Serbia at this international competition in mental arithmetic consists of: Anja Jojic gold medal, Belgrade, Vidikovac, Andrija Grujučić, silver medal, Belgrade, Vidikovac, Katarina Birčanin, silver medal, Belgrade, Voždovac, Nenad Dimitrijevic, trophy, India, Andrej Jovanovic, trophy Niš, Mihajlo Stanojević, gold medal, Zaječar and Teodora Bogdanović, silver medal, Niš. The little mental arithmeticians were prepared and encouraged for the competition in Dubai by educators Jelena Nikolić from Niš, Blagoja Ilieski and Katarina Stojanović from Belgrade.
