Recipe for vanilla ice cream with walnuts.
Vanilla with walnuts, ingredients:
- 400 g of flour
- 60 g density
- 90 g of powdered sugar
- 210 g of cold butter
- 100 g of ground walnuts
- 2 eggs
- 1 bag of vanilla sugar
- jam to taste (I filled with pineapple and mango jam)
- powdered sugar
- vanillin-sugar for sprinkling vanilla
Vanilla beans with walnuts, preparation:
- Mix the flour, shortening, powdered sugar and ground almonds to combine the ingredients.
- Add eggs and butter cut into pieces, vanilla sugar, then knead the dough.
- Wrap the dough in cling film and leave it in the fridge for an hour.
- Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to a thickness of about 0,5 cm, then use a rolling pin or a cup dipped in flour to make circles.
- Place the circles in the baking tray, leaving a little space between them.
- Bake in a heated oven at 200ºC for seven minutes.
- Remove from the oven and leave to cool.
- Spread the cooled circles thinly with jam and join two circles at a time.
- Sprinkle the joined circles with powdered sugar mixed with vanillin-sugar.
- Pleasant!
