Easter nests - decorative and delicious dough! Maybe it will serve as an additional inspiration for some of your own nests!

  • 1 piece of egg
  • 1 piece of yolk
  • 3 spoons of sugar
  • 200 g of fat
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 1 bag of dry yeast
  • 0,5 teaspoons of salt
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate (powdered)
  • 100 g of chocolate
  • 600 g of flour
  • 5 spoons of jam
  1. Mix the yeast with lukewarm milk, add sugar and a spoonful of flour and let the yeast rise for a few minutes. Put the egg, egg yolks, salt, fat, dry yeast in a suitable bowl and pour in the added yeast. Knead the dough by gradually adding flour. Divide the kneaded dough into two equal parts. parts and put the chocolate powder in one part. Knead until the dough is smooth. Leave it to double in size.

  2. Knead the resulting dough and roll out a circle with a rolling pin to a thickness of about 5 mm. Roll out the circle from one and the other part. Use the same glass to take out the circles. Coat one lighter part with jelly and put another circle of the opposite color, which you previously cut into 8 parts with a dough wheel. as for rolls but not until the end of the dough.

  3. When one circle is over the other, then twist the cut parts so that it looks like a nest or a flower petal. Put a chocolate cube in the middle or leave it empty so that you can put an egg if you want.

  4. Beat the egg whites with a fork and coat the edges of the nest. Repeat the process until you use up all the ingredients.
    Leave them to rise for 10 minutes and bake at 200 C until golden brown.
