Pepperoni for the winter, ingredients:
For topping:
- 2 l of water,
- 4 tablespoons of salt,
- 2 spoons of sugar,
- 1/2 bag of grapes,
- 1/2 sachet of preservative.
Other:
- 1 kg of pepperoni (hot peppers).
Pepperoni for the winter, preparation:
- Wash the hot peppers well. If they have long stems, cut them off a bit.
- Pour water into a deep bowl, add salt, sugar, grape juice, preservative and mix.
- Let it stand until all the ingredients are dissolved in the water.
- Stir occasionally.
- Place the peppers in well-washed jars, so that they are as close as possible to each other.
- Cover them with the prepared mixture.
- Close the jars well with lids and store in the pantry.
Tip: I got 5 jars from this quantity. It all depends on the size of the jars, as well as the peppers. I had both smaller and slightly larger peppers. The important thing is that they are angry.
