  • 300 g of soft flour
  • 100 g of margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 1 bag of baking powder
  • 1 spoon of cocoa
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 4 teaspoons of honey
  • Frosting:
  • 150 g of powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tablespoons of hot water
  1. Melt honey and margarine over low heat. Mix flour with sugar, pastry, vanilla sugar, cocoa and cinnamon. Beat the eggs and add to the bowl and mix with melted margarine and honey. Transfer the mixture to the work surface and knead everything nicely to get a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in nylon foil and let it rest for 10-15 minutes. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin to a thickness of 5 mm and cut out the desired shapes with various cutters.
  2. Arrange the gingerbreads in a greased tray and bake for 10 minutes at 180 degrees.
  3. Remove the baked gingerbread from the oven and cool.
  4. Beat the icing with a wooden whisk from powdered sugar and hot water to get a thick white mass (like for a rose cake). If desired, food colors can be mixed into the glaze.
  5. Apply glaze to each gingerbread.
