The HGK winemaking association presented Croatian wines to the Serbian market - an annual tasting of Croatian wines
In the presence of high-ranking officials from political and social life, 13.05.2015. Mr. in a hotel Crown Plaza in Belgrade, the annual tasting of Croatian wines was held.
Before the opening of the wine tasting itself, a meeting of representatives of the HGK Winery Association and the Serbian Winemakers' Association PKS was held, where mutual cooperation opportunities were discussed, and in the framework of which the presentations of the winemaking sectors of Croatia and Serbia were held. "The association chose the Serbian market for the promotion of Croatian wines primarily because of proximity, but also because of tradition and because it is a market that has a large import of wine." This event should be the way to open the Croatian wine market in the Republic of Serbia, said the President of the HGK Winery Association Ivica Kovačević.
The annual tasting of Croatian wines was organized by the Winery Association Croatian Chamber of Commerce in which 19 Croatian wineries took part: Agrolaguna dd, Badel 1862 dd, Belje dd, De Georgiis doo, Iločki podrumi dd, Jako vino doo, Winery Jokić doo, Winery Škaulj, PP Orahovica, Zlatan Otok doo, Lagradi doo, Degrassi doo, PZ Vrbnik, Kutjevo dd, OPG Eliđo Pilato, Erdutski vinogradi dd, Kozlović doo and PZ Postup, Krauthaker doo
Director of the Sector for Agriculture, Food Industry and Forestry, HGK Božica Marković emphasized that there is significant space for cooperation between Croatian and Serbian winemakers, as well as for the exchange of experiences, but also good opportunities for using EU funds on joint projects.
"I want this event to be successful and to show all the quality and variety of Croatian wines," said the ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the Republic of Serbia. Gordan Markotić, and emphasized that he is satisfied that wines from all parts of the Republic of Croatia are presented in one place, which automatically gives a complete picture of the overall wine offer, and wished all Croatian winemakers success in their work.
In addition to the tasting of outstanding wines from all regions of the Republic of Croatia, the hosts also organized a tasting of the best delicatessen products, from kulen to famous Pag cheeses, and the "Kampanel" band from Primošten provided a good atmosphere.
During the fall, the promotion of Croatian wines on the Serbian market will continue through sales fairs in some of the largest shopping centers in Serbia.
