Interview with... Bojan Božić, graduate fashion designer | Recipes & Cookbook Online - What should I cook today? 1Bojan Božić is a graduated fashion designer from Belgrade, awarded several times for his fashion creations.

Wandering through the endless expanses of infinite perfect art, Bojan found himself in a new creative field, called cooking! He tries to master it with his own creative skills, amateurishly, with the results of a professional, through undiscovered expanses of artistic freedom and expression, and through his own visual identity.

With the original idea and wishes of his daughter Srna, he develops his own creativity in a unique way: authentic, original, with his own signature, because the meaning of his art is original perfectionism, with a touch of romance, glamour, elegance and his own style, combined with the traditional.

The paths of infinity, through the cosmic universe of art, have one unique goal: to upgrade the already existing art, with new and unique ideas, which will raise art to an even greater pedestal and show that without art and artists, the world and the consciousness of people cannot develop, because they are artists , like him, destined for it.

"Each area is special in its own way and the roads are different. Fashion, which is a part of our lives, and we are not even aware of it, how much it is woven into every part of our consciousness, like the thread of our thoughts, makes us more perfect and evolutionarily developed. Fashion over time creates development and aesthetic value, in every field, including in the culinary field, thereby building a tower of pleasure, hedonism, taste.... Every bite activates our senses, every recorded aesthetic experience intensifies the taste, smell and shows us the way to the boundless infinity. artistic universe and opens the door to hedonism. This is the only way we can experience the true value of an artist and his skill."

This time, Bojan Božić selflessly shared with us his thoughts on fashion, as well as his culinary masterpieces.

What's the fashion today?

- The same as before, developmental, evolutionarily advanced in accordance with the modern needs of man. Technologically in terms of materials, machines, brought to perfection in this 21st century.

What is the fashion in the world, in the Balkans, in Serbia? Are there any common denominators, or is this region, again, different?

- Every country, region, place has its own distinctive feature cool, somewhere traditions are still nurtured, and big centers like Paris, London, New York are still leaders in terms of fashion trends. Our country is not that different, it's just a trend adjusted to the standard.

What is fashion to you?

- FASHION, based on my acquired knowledge, skill and experience, is an integral part of life, which entered into every human pore, every bit of consciousness and the development of the still undiscovered mind, striving for perfectionistic and perfect harmony of everyday life, progress and development, from hour to hour hour, from minute to minute, from second to second, not sparing a single bit of human emotion, but cruelly embracing the entire human personality, wanting to shape it, process it, sculpt it like Michelangelo, in its own, perfect way and make it unique and perfect like the cosmos.

How seriously do you take fashion, with 22 years of experience in the fashion industry?

FASHION = SERIOUSNESS - Only fashion in the industry can be considered a serious and demanding professional profession with very precise and highly scientific skills, without which the goal cannot be reached. Every model that is born must be in harmony with all the needs of a complete personality in the modern world. Creating models in the industry is very difficult. Experience and daily long-term work on oneself brings special expertise and solutions to the puzzles encountered by the designer during the creation of a model. You can imagine the difference between the mini-collection in the designers' ateliers of a maximum of 100 pieces and the commercial collections in the industry, where hundreds of thousands of models are produced and sold on the market. The difference between creators is huge. The approach to the solution of the task must be very specific, as if you were approaching a difficult mathematical task.

How, in a few sentences, can you describe the job of a fashion designer today?

Very much so COMPLEX and COMPLEX a job that requires total commitment, awareness and top-notch knowledge. You have to completely surrender and devote yourself only to that job, and forget your private life, unfortunately, because that's the only way you can succeed, survive and have a business career.

Can we call the work of a fashion designer artistic?

- In this country, Serbia, NO! In fashion NEVER, but never really, there is no relaxation. The freedom of creativity is limited to a minimum due to the desire that each model must be perfect, creative and always commercial. It is very difficult, if you are not a professional, to combine all the items, but when, in the end, you achieve it - you will be proud of yourself and the solution of that difficult task.

What is the challenge of creating a unique fashion collection?

- Creating is very easy, if you work with enjoyment, and it feels like you got wings and took off. While you are creating, you are flying above the clouds, and you feel like a free Bird of Paradise soaring proudly towards the sky, and then that dream becomes a reality and you need to market your realized dream - a unique collection - and that is very difficult. It requires education and breadth of view of the consumer himself, and willingness to follow new challenges. Most people have a stereotypical attitude towards unique fashion (High fashion) because they think they don't have the opportunity to wear it.

What are your experiences with students as a lecturer at Mod'Art International, a French high school for fashion and art?

- I must admit that I promised myself, at the beginning of my career, that I would engage in pedagogic work and selflessly pass on my rich knowledge in the field of fashion design in the industry to my future colleagues. I didn't get that experience from anyone - I picked up the craft from employed production workers, and wrote down useful advice in my notebook, which no one else wanted to say, every operation during sewing, and repeated it myself at home. Unfortunately, upon arriving at the faculty of Mod Art International based in Paris, after my crowned fashion show in Paris, as a professor in the course designer in industry, my expectations, that I would have someone to transfer my knowledge to, were not realized. Young people believe that by financing their studies in a quick way, they will get knowledge, skills and a FAMOUS diploma, without making even the slightest effort, commitment, or appreciation of the professor, as a professional artist, from whom they can gain immense knowledge, and which I selflessly offered them. The famous paper and pencil, as the basic work equipment, then and now, of a fashion designer, and the knowledge of drawing fashion illustrations, which accompanies this work, are completely unknown to them and they do not try to master it. One sentence of a student left a great impression on me, during the proofreading of her work, a simple task "that the work itself disturbs her". Fortunately, I also met a couple of quality young designers, to whom my knowledge and my dedication bore fruit and showed them their high results. Unfortunately, very few talented and more untalented designers.

Interview with... Bojan Božić, graduate fashion designer | Recipes & Cookbook Online - What should I cook today? 11

We've seen some photos of your cake creations, they look beautiful, down to the smallest detail... How did it all start?

- Love for a new field - cooking, starts from early childhood, when I made my first dough cookies with my grandmother and mother Maria and always baked and ate them. This was built up over the years, and during my studies, I used a part of my free time and expressed myself in another form of artistic creation, which is the creation of independent recipes for sweets. Every gram was calculated in my own way, the refined taste refined to perfection, and the scents of oriental spices enchant and ravishingly attract you! The essence of my recipes was, not only the aesthetics, which were impeccable, but also the taste and smell, which would satisfy all the senses and provide hedonistic pleasure. The climax comes, when I had a daughter Srna, whose imagination inspired me, and together with her I began to enter the fairy-tale world of sweets and beautiful original small works of art, according to many friends. Over time, birthday cakes were lined up, one after the other, more and more beautiful and delicious, they were so unique and attractive, so I started getting offers from people with high standards and high constructed attitudes of aesthetics and taste.
