Jaffa cake.

Jaffa cake, ingredients:

It is necessary for crusts:

for one crust you need:

  • 5 Yeah yeah,
  • 3 spoons of sugar,
  • 3 spoons of flour,
  • 6 spoons of ground walnuts
  • (the same for the second crust).

For the white filling you need:

  • 1 liter of milk,
  • 2 vanilla puddings,
  • 2 tablespoons of flour,
  • 6 spoons of sugar and
  • 250 g of margarine and
  • 200 powdered sugar.

For black filling you need:

  • 200 g of ground walnuts,
  • 200 g of powdered sugar,
  • 125 g of margarine and
  • 3 bars of melted chocolate with a little milk.

More is needed

  • orange juice and
  • 3 boxes of Jaffa biscuits of 150 gr and
  • two whipped creams.

Jaffa cake, preparation:

  • Beat 5 egg whites into stiff peaks, then add sugar and beat again into stiff peaks, into which mix the egg yolks with a whisk.
  • Add ground walnuts and flour and slowly mix into a homogeneous mass.
  • Take a cake pan or a cake mold, spread it with grease and sprinkle it with flour or put baking paper and pour the prepared mass for the crust.
  • Bake in a heated oven at 200 degrees, which you reduce to 180 degrees centigrade when you put the crust to bake. Bake the cocoa for 25 minutes and remove it to a baking sheet to cool.
  • Bake the second crust in the same way.
  • When the crusts have cooled, cut them in two so that you get 4 crusts.
  • Cook the white filling by putting two vanilla puddings in a bowl, add flour and sugar and mix, then add a little milk, about 10 spoons, and mix.
  • Bring the remaining milk to a boil and pour in the whipped pudding and cook for a few minutes.
  • Leave the pudding to cool completely, stirring occasionally to prevent the crust from sticking.
  • While the pudding is cooling, prepare the black filling by mixing half the margarine and powdered sugar. Nuts are added, mixed, and then melted chocolate is mixed into it.
  • For the white filling, beat the margarine and powdered sugar and add the cooled pudding and beat everything well with a mixer.
  • Put one crust on the tray and cover it with the white filling, on top of which a layer of Jaffa biscuits dipped in the part that does not have chocolate in orange juice to cover the whole crust, and then spread the white filling again.
  • Place the second crust and cover it with half of the black filling.
  • Then put the third crust and cover it with white filling and line it up with jaffa biscuits dipped in orange juice and cover it again with white filling.
  • Put the fourth crust and spread it on top and around the entire cake with the filling obtained when the rest of the white and black fillings are combined, or whip 2 whipped creams according to the instructions on the bag and spread the whole cake.
