Reform cake.

Reform cake, ingredients:

For the crusts:

  • 24 egg whites
  • 24 spoons of sugar
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 4 tablespoons of oil
  • 48 spoons (about 500 g) of ground walnuts

For the filling:

  • 24 egg yolks
  • 2 eggs
  • 26 spoons of sugar
  • 400 g of cooking chocolate
  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g of margarine
  • 2 bags of vanilla sugar

Reform cake, preparation:

  • Beat 6 egg whites with 6 spoons of sugar, add 1 spoon of flour, 1 spoon of oil and 12 spoons of ground walnuts. Mix lightly with a whisk. Pour into a pan (35x25cm), greased or lined with baking paper. Bake for 20 minutes in an oven heated to 180 C. Make 3 more crusts in the same way.
  • Beat the egg yolks and 2 eggs well with the sugar and vanilla sugar, pour into a saucepan and steam for about 20 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Towards the end of cooking, when the fudge starts to leave a mark on the bottom of the pan, add the cooking chocolate and stir until it melts. Beat the butter and margarine, then mix with the well-chilled filling.
  • Put the crust on the tray, the filling over it (a quarter of the total amount), the crust again, then the filling... 4 crusts, 4 rows of filling. Finish the cake with the filling and decorate it.
  • Enjoy the taste!

It is a recipe for a large cake (35x25cm). I made it, then cut it lengthwise and decorated two smaller ones (35x12,5cm). If you want a smaller one, bake two crusts of 6 egg whites each, divide them lengthwise, you get 4, and for the filling you need all these ingredients with half the measure.
