Juices, as well as fruit and vegetable cakes, that we consume, should be as little processed as possible, i.e. the fruit we use should just process in a blender, without any additives. Nutrients in fruits and vegetables, among other things, according to the latest research, help with preventive cardiovascular diseases, and some types of cancer. Consuming raspberry juice or cake, which contain a large amount of fresh raspberries, they contribute to the intake of nutrients in the body, due to their vitamin and mineral content.

Raspberry, as a food ingredient, is very tasty, per se, but, you can always try yes combine flavors - to add, e.g. fresh mint, as well as other fruits and vegetables.

Although it contains a lot of nutrients, raspberries do not contain a lot of dietary fiber. For a balanced and healthy diet, it is necessary, as well as for nutritional values, combine it with other fruits and vegetables.

Otherwise, pure, undiluted raspberry juice it contains a low level of fat and few calories. It contains high level of antioxidants, vitamin C, vitamin K, magnesium, potassium, calcium,... Consuming pressed or processed juice from fresh raspberries is a good way to increase the body's immunity.

Cake with raspberries - an exceptional aroma, and you can prepare it even during the winter, using frozen raspberries...

  • 250 g flour
  • 150 g butter
  • 70 g of sugar
  • egg yolks (2 pieces)
  • a bit of salt
  • raspberry jam
  • about 300 g of fresh raspberries
  • egg whites (3 pieces)
  1. Leave the butter to soften, at room temperature.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks, then add the flour, salt and softened butter. Beat with a mixer to obtain a uniform mass. If necessary, add a little lukewarm water. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Pour the dough into a greased tray (or put baking paper on it), and level it. Spread raspberry jam over the dough and bake at 170 degrees Celsius.
  4. Add the egg whites and sugar to the mixing bowl. Beat the egg whites with a mixer into foam. When the foam is firm, add pureed fresh raspberries (1 medium cup) and mix.
  5. When the dough is baked, take it out of the oven and cover it with whipped egg white foam. Return to the oven for a few minutes to brown.
  6. Serve the cake well chilled, with fresh raspberries, whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
