Turmeric is a very healthy, but rarely used spice in our country. You can read more about the benefits of turmeric HERE. If you can't get used to the taste of turmeric, and you want to include it in your daily diet, I suggest a mixture of spices according to the following recipe.
Turmeric as an ingredient in the spice mix, ingredients:
- 150 g of dried vegetables (carrots, celery root, parsnip root, parsley root)
- 20 g of dried onion
- 10 g of dried parsley leaves
- 30 g of turmeric
- 5 g of ground pepper
- 5 g of garlic powder
- 5 g of ground rosemary
- 50 g of sea salt
Turmeric as an ingredient in a spice mixture, prepared by:
- Place the listed ingredients in a chopper or other food processor and process for 20-30 seconds - until you get the desired granulation.
- To prepare the spice mixture, you can use: stick mixer, electric coffee grinder...
Turmeric has a sharp, oriental taste and smell. But don't worry, in this spice mix you will easily accept its taste.
You can use the spice mix with turmeric like any other - for soups, stews, stews, meat, bread, pastries... This is a universal spice (as well as the most commonly used spice mix that we are all used to).
Note: You can change the amount of ingredients. Store the spice in a sealed jar.
