The young culinary team recorded a historic success for our country
Belgrade, October 25, 2016 - Young chefs from the Junior Chefs Club, sponsored by METRO Cash & Carry, won a bronze medal at the Culinary Olympics in Germany in the category of regional teams. This is the first award for Serbia in the history of the Culinary Olympics, which have been held since 1900.
The bronze medal at the most prestigious culinary competition was won for Serbia by a team of chefs, among them: Aleksandar Tomić, Jovan Mijušković, Aleksandra Sarić, Teodora Kosorić, Stefan Živković, headed by trainers Aleksandar Ilić and Nikola Biševac.
The Serbian Juniors Chefs Club has been preparing for this competition for a year at the METRO Horeca Center. The preparations were very demanding, and the Center provided them with ideal conditions for practice. By winning a medal in a strong competition of teams from a large number of countries, our team showed that Serbia has extremely talented culinary masters, who with adequate support, such as that provided by METRO Cash & Carry, can record top results on the international stage.
