Carob muffins with orange jam - Snežana Kitanović
Besides being healthy, carob is a good substitute for cocoa and chocolate.
In combination with orange jam, it's a winning combination...try it, see for yourself!
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup of ground carob
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 grated apples
- 2 teaspoons of baking soda
- orange jam
- Mix all the ingredients except the jam.
- In the muffin tin, put 1 or 1 and a half tablespoons of mixture, then 1 teaspoon of jam and then another mixture to cover the jam.
- Heat the oven to 200C and bake for about 20 minutes.
