In the period from May 14 to 20, the "Museums for 10" event was held in Zrenjanin, which also marked the European Night of Museums (Saturday, May 19).
During the manifestation "Museums for 10" in the Hall of the National Museum of Zrenjanin, the exhibition "Jožef Pehan - an artist at the turn of the century - works from the collection of the City Museum in Vrbas and the Mandić collection", while the exhibition "Japaneseism in Banat: 16-1869" opened in the Small Salon on May 1969. From May 14, the museum's permanent exhibit was enriched with the chamber exhibition "Nestled".
On the European Night of Museums, it should first of all be noted that the renovated atrium of the National Museum of Zrenjanin was officially opened, the renovation of which was financed by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia as part of the "Cities in Focus" project. As far as the program is concerned, in addition to the above-mentioned exhibitions, the audience could also see the exhibition "The children will be meat, go get Grandma Desa's pension." and the "Portrait of Mihajlo Pupin" by Uroš Predić was ceremonially unveiled and presented, which is the property of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Idvor, but was handed over to our museum for safekeeping and became part of the permanent exhibition of the Art Collection. Five workshops were held: a mosaic evening "Games and puzzles", a prize game in the permanent exhibition "Visitor-detective", a painting and sculpting workshop, a "slime" workshop at the Birooprem bookstore and a school of drawing and painting for children and adults, as well as a prize quiz "Enigmatic Personality". On the European night of the museum, in the atrium, the Saint Seraphim Sarovski choir from Zrenjanin, students of the "Josif Marinković" Music School Zrenjanin and the mixed choir of the Singing Society "Prepodobni Rafailo Banatski" performed. The program in the atrium ended with the screening of the ethnological film "Ajavaska Teacher".
The total number of visitors to the National Museum of Zrenjanin during the "Museums for 10" event reached 3.699, while there were 2.967 visitors to the museum's European Night alone.
The Zrenjanin Night of Museums was held for the twelfth time, and this time programs were also held in the Contemporary Gallery of Zrenjanin, the Cultural Center of Zrenjanin, the Historical Archive of Zrenjanin, the National Theater "Toša Jovanović", the City Public Library "Žarko Zrenjanin", the Diocese of Zrenjanin, and in Lazarevo. Museum night.
The total number of visitors to the museum's Zrenjanin night is over 5.000!
