Cherry marmalade has a beautiful taste.

Cherries gel, so it is not necessary to add thickeners.

I advise you to choose fleshier cherries.

Adjust the amount of sugar to taste.

The measurements are for 2 jars (that's how many cherries I had).

Cherry marmalade, ingredients:

  • 850 g of pitted cherries
  • 250-300 g of sugar

Cherry marmalade, preparation:

  • Combine cherries and sugar and cook on medium heat for about 40 minutes.
  • Grind them with a stick blender or another food processor and cook until the rice begins to leave a mark on the pan.
  • Pour the marmalade into sterilized jars, close with metal caps, pasteurize or place in a steamer.
  • Store as usual.
