Plusonline: Young farmers from Central Europe on Stara planina - "We are farmers too"
"Young farmers from Central Europe are gathering for the first time to learn and exchange experiences, from August 29 to September 2 in Visoška Ržana."

Young female farmers from Central Europe, 25 of them from Bosnia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia, will spend 5 days (from 29.08. - 02.09.2015) on Stara planina near Pirot, Serbia. They will be presented with a series of presentations and workshops with the aim of sharing their experiences gained in practice.
The main theme of the event is called "Cooperatives", during which the intention will be presented and the very important role of female farmers in the transition from conventional to sustainable agricultural production will be highlighted.
In addition, the emphasis will be on networking in cooperatives for the purpose of exchanging experiences and assistance, and for the purpose of strengthening the entire cooperative community, as well as the individuals who make up the cooperative.
Young farmers and their gatherings were supported by the Central European Initiative (CEI) Cooperation Fund (www.cei.int). The association AMA - Center for the Care of Man and Nature participated in the organization of the event.
