Quick hairpins - the easiest activity for children and (un)announced guests. They can be served sweet and salty. They are very simple and must be an integral part of the repertoire of every cook and mother.

- 10 tablespoon flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 piece of egg
- 1 bag of baking powder
- 0,5 cup of milk
- 0,5 cups of water

Quick tips, preparation:
- Mix 10 full spoons of flour, salt and baking powder and egg with milk and water. You can also use a mixer or a hand whisk as you find it easier.
- Pour the oil into a deep pan and heat it. Reduce the heat to medium to prevent the dough from burning and to get a nice golden color.
- Scoop out the dough with a tablespoon and pour it into the hot oil. One spoon one pinch. If you poured it on hot oil, it only takes 30 seconds to a minute to turn the dough to the other side and get a nice golden color.
- When the dough turns golden, you can take it out.
- ps If you want, you can take it out on a napkin to absorb the excess oil.
- Serve immediately and serve with whatever you have in the fridge. Sweet ones can be topped with sugar, jam, Nutella... Savory ones can be topped with cheese, cream, cream...

If you have more guests, just double the ingredients. I put it for three people because it turns out about 20 pieces, so a couple of sweet and salty for each, otherwise this is usually too much for me and my husband.

- 2,5 dl of water
- 2,5 dl of milk
- 1 spoon of dry yeast
- 1 bag of baking powder
- 3 pieces of eggs
- 500 g of flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- oil (for frying)
Clips, preparation:
- Put yeast in warm water and milk to stand for 5 minutes, then add baking powder, 3 eggs, salt and add flour little by little while beating with a mixer.
- Beat the mass well and let it rise for 30 minutes.
- Heat the oil and first dip a spoon into the hot oil, grab the dough and put it in the oil to fry on both sides.

Snacks - tasty, light snacks for breakfast or dinner. Serve with cheese, cream, sour cream or honey, cream or jam.

- 500 g flour
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 4 eggs
- 70 g butter
- 10 g of fresh yeast
- 100 ml of lukewarm water
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- oil for frying
Clips, preparation:
- In a large mixing bowl, mix flour with salt, add eggs and butter that was at room temperature.
- Mix the yeast with sugar and water in a cup and add it to the mixing bowl.
- Knead a smooth dough, sprinkle with flour, form a noodle, put it in a plastic bag and leave it in the refrigerator to rest for 2 hours.
- Roll out the dough thinly on a floured surface and fry in hot oil for a very short time so that it does not burn.
Note: The oil must be hot or the pegs will not inflate.

Chopsticks with Swiss chard - the wonderful taste of Swiss chard, cheese, for breakfast or dinner, the right thing...
Clips, ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 100 g of cheese
- 200 g of chopped Swiss chard
- 1 baking powder
- 1/2 cube of yeast
- 250 ml milk
- 500 g flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of salt
Clips, preparation:
- Knead the dough from the given ingredients (if you need to add more flour so that the dough does not stick to your hands) and let the dough rest for about 10 minutes.
- Then roll out the dough to 1/2 cm thickness, cut as desired (cubes or triangles) and fry in oil.
- Enjoy the wonderful taste of ushtipak... with cheese or yogurt.

Uštipci, an old recipe
Clips, old recipe, ingredients:
- 500 g wheat flour,
- 200 g of buckwheat flour,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- 1 teaspoon of sugar,
- 1 bag of dry yeast,
- 2 dl of yogurt and
- lukewarm water if necessary.
Uštipci, old recipe, preparation:
- Mix both types of flour, add salt, sugar and yeast, yogurt and add lukewarm water while stirring constantly. The dough should be soft. Cover with a cloth and leave in a warm place to rise.
- After half an hour, knead the dough and cover again, let it rise once more.
- Pour oil or fat for frying into a deep pan and heat it well - it must not be overheated, because the outside of the dumplings will darken quickly, and the inside will remain unfried.
- Take out the dough with an oiled spoon and drop it into the hot oil.
- Shake the pan so that the pinches come out on their own turn or turn them with a spoon.
- Arrange the fried dumplings on a napkin so that the napkin absorbs the excess fat.
