Thick peach and pear juice is simply prepared - like most thick juices. The fruits are boiled, mixed, water, sugar and vitamin C are added as needed and that's it.
The fruit is particularly sweet this year, so I didn't add sugar. I prepared the juices for immediate use because there was a lot of fruit (so it wouldn't go to waste).
If you are preparing the juice for a later period, add sugar and pasteurize it. How much fruit you will use is up to you. The ratio does not have to be 1:1.
And how sweet the pears from our garden are, you can see in the photo. Although, the wasp stung both mom and aunt...

Thick peach and pear juice is easy to prepare – like most thick juices. The fruits are boiled, mixed, water, sugar and vitamin C are added as needed and that's it.
- 1 kg of fruit (peaches and pears)
- 100-150 g of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vitamin C (level)
- Pour water and sugar over chopped fruit.
- Cook it for about five minutes - until the fruit is soft.
- Drain the fruit, put it in a blender and process.
- If necessary, add the water in which the fruit was cooked.
- At the end, combine the resulting porridge, the rest of the liquid and vitamin C.
- Pour the juice into sterilized bottles and store in the refrigerator.
