Pickled peppers with parsley and garlic - no water is added here, there is enough liquid from the vinegar and sugar and the pepper itself releases its own juice.

Pickled peppers with parsley and garlic, ingredients:

  • 5 kg of cleaned and optionally cut red pepper,
  • 1 liter of vinegar,
  • 500 g of sugar,
  • 250 g of salt,
  • 1 bag of preservative of 5 g,
  • 2-3 heads of garlic i
  • chopped parsley, bay leaf, peppercorns, all to taste.

Pickled peppers with parsley and garlic, preparation:

  • Put the vinegar, sugar, salt and preservative in a deep saucepan on the fire to boil.
  • Place the peppers in the boiling pot, part by part, for a short time to taste. Remove the pepper to cool and drain.
  • When the pepper and the liquid in which they were cooked have cooled down, combine them, add a bunch of finely chopped peshun leaves and finely chopped 2-3 heads of garlic.
  • The paprika should stand for 24 hours and be stirred occasionally.
  • The next day, pack in jars, fill with the liquid in which the peppers were cooked.
