Chicken breast with yogurt and curry - Željko Aksentijević

  • 700 g of chicken breast
  • juice of 1 squeezed lemon
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 500 g of yogurt
  • 250 g of rice
  • 4 teaspoons of curry
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  1. Squeeze the lemon and peel the garlic.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into small pieces and put them in a bowl. Season with salt, pepper, lemon juice and a piece of garlic. Knead carefully and leave to stand.
  3. Make a curry yogurt sauce and a pinch of salt.
  4. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large pan.
  5. Drain the chicken from the lemon and fry on low heat for about 20 minutes.
  6. In the meantime, boil the water for cooking the rice. Add salt and when it boils again, pour in the rice.
  7. Strain the rice when it is cooked "al dente" and mix in half a teaspoon of curry.
  8. At the end of stewing the chicken, add the yogurt sauce and mix.
  9. Serve with rice.
