Chicken with mushrooms and curry - Javorka Filipović
- 500 g of boneless chicken
- 200 g of mushrooms
- 1 leek
- 1 tablespoons of oil
- optional dry herb seasoning (salt and pepper)
- 200 ml of yogurt
- 5 g of curry
- some parsley leaves
- 250 g of rice
- Fry the chicken cut into sticks in moderately heated oil. When the chicken is half fried, add the chopped leeks and fry for another 2-3 minutes. Then add the mushrooms cut into thin leaves, season as desired and simmer until the mushrooms are soft. At the end, add yogurt, curry and parsley leaves and simmer a little more until the sauce thickens. Serve with previously prepared rice.
- Lightly fry the rice in moderately heated oil, add salt and pour twice as much hot water as the rice. Knead gently for 2-3 minutes, cover the pan and after 2 minutes turn off the stove and leave it on the hot stove so that the rice completely absorbs the water. When there is no more water, the rice will be ready to serve.
