Tonight, the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia and the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications awarded awards to the most successful domestic commodity and corporate brands at the closing ceremony of the action "The best from Serbia in 2016". At the ceremony in Novi Sad, awards were presented to representatives of 22 domestic companies in 25 categories.
"By changing ourselves, we also changed the Nabolje from Serbia action. In the action, we incorporated and combined the tradition of one of the most prestigious national awards with modern trends in business and on the market, the knowledge and objectivity of a scientifically based methodology with modern trends and attractiveness, market financial indicators with the views of consumers, the professional public, business partners and the jury," he said. is Marko Čadež, president of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. With the values they create, individual brands give strength to the national brand, creating an image of the new Serbia as a country of success stories - which is becoming more and more attractive to the world - and to politicians and investors, customers and tourists, stressed the president of the PKS.
The "Best from Serbia" award in the commodity brand category for everyday consumption goods was awarded to Bambije Plasma, in the drink category to Nektar, while in the chemistry category the award went to Merix, Henkel Serbia.
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Serbia and the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić said at the ceremony in the Master Center of the Novi Sad Fair that the companies awarded the "Best of Serbia" award are the core of the new Serbian business elite. "Despite the financial crisis and great difficulties, you managed to solve those problems with your knowledge and skills, as well as creative ideas, and create a significant result, which is not only the success of the companies but also the success of the Serbian economy," emphasized Ljajić.
Smederevac, produced by Milan Blagojević from Smederevo, was awarded as the best product for the home. Extreme Intimo was awarded in the category of clothing, textiles and footwear, and in the category of manufactured goods and business services, the company NIS Petrol from Novi Sad was awarded.
Congratulating the winners, Igor Mirović, President of the Provincial Government, pointed out that the "Best of Serbia" mark is a kind of identity card for the market competition and a significant segment of intangible, but very important added value, which in today's world is called a brand. This positive recognition is extremely important and we should all strive for it, said Mirović.
"Serbia has great athletes, artists, scientists, and tonight we have the opportunity to meet great businessmen of our country. The Ministry of Economy will continue to provide both financial and non-financial support, in order to provide a better business environment, to expand your businesses and hire new people. This year, about 11 billion dinars are available through incentives for investments and about 18 billion through various programs to train, improve, start a business or similar", said Goran Knežević, Minister of Economy.
Premia, owned by Delhaize, was named best trade brand, Bio Panon, organic beef, was awarded best new brand introduction. Gorenje was awarded as the best foreign brand produced in Serbia, and Maruška was awarded as the best local brand. Leskovac domestic ajvar was awarded as the best brand with protected geographical origin.
Sunoko was awarded for the best corporate brands in the category of daily consumption goods, Nektar was awarded for food and beverages, and Philip Morris Operations from Niš was awarded in the category of chemicals, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and other products. The company Alfa Plam from Vranje won the award in the category of products for the home and consumer durables, and Luna from Požarevac won the award for clothing. In the category of manufactured goods and business services, recognition was given to NIS AD Novi Sad, and AD Aerodrom "Nikola Tesla" was awarded as the best service company. In the category of small and medium-sized service companies, the general hospital BEL MEDIC was awarded, and Kabinet DOO Sopot was awarded for the most successful introduction of a startup company.
The best exporters are Alfa Plam AD Vranje in the category of large companies and MikroElektronika DOO Belgrade in the category of small and medium-sized companies. The best tourist event is the Drina Regatta, and the Kopaonik Business Forum received recognition for the best economic event. This year, the jury also awarded a special award to the company "Vega IT Sourcing DOO", which achieved very notable business results in this year, the year of entrepreneurship.
The mayor of Novi Sad, Miloš Vučević, congratulated the winners and especially thanked PKS for holding the "Best of Serbia" campaign for 12 years. As he said, in 12 years, countries and systems change, and PKS managed to hold this event, which is an indicator of how well and qualitatively it works. Vučević praised the decision of the PKS to hold the award ceremony in Novi Sad - the European capital of culture and the youth capital of Europe.
As in previous years, the Ministry of Trade, in cooperation with the largest retail chains, will organize a special corner, the "top corner", for the winners of the prestigious "Best from Serbia" award, within which the awarded brands will be displayed in the markets: Plazma, Bakina tajna, Najlepske zelje , Smoky, Eurocrem, Bananica, Polimark ketchup, Galeb, Nectar family, Zdravo sokovi, Merix and Bohor.
