Pumpkin jam - if you haven't prepared winter in time, it's not too late.
Pumpkin jam - Kristina Gašpar
- 500 g of cleaned pumpkin
- 300 g of peeled pickled apples
- 200 g of oranges with peel (unpeeled)
- 100 g of cleaned quinces
- 500 g of sugar
- 1 lemon (juice)
- Cut the fruit into smaller pieces and put it in a larger pot, to cover the bottom, then pour about 1 dl of water and cook at a high temperature for 5 minutes from the moment it boils.
- Then, mix the fruit with a stick mixer, add sugar and cook at a low temperature for about an hour. Just to note that the cooking time depends on the diameter of the pot.
- The jam is ready when you can see the bottom of the pan when stirring. Then add lemon juice and cook for another minute.
- Pour into sterilized jars.
