Snails with cheese.

Snails with cheese:

  • 100 ml of water,
  • 40 g of yeast,
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar,
  • 600 g of flour,
  • 1 glass of sour cream (180 g),
  • 100 ml of oil,
  • 1 teaspoon of salt,
  • 100 g of peanuts and
  • egg yolks for coating.

Snails with cheese, preparation:

  • Put yeast, a teaspoon of sugar and flour in lukewarm water.
  • Combine sour cream, oil and salt.
  • Add water, with added yeast and flour, and knead the dough.
  • Leave it to rest in a warm place for about thirty minutes.
  • Then, add peanuts to the dough, mix everything well and leave it to rest for another ten minutes.
  • Roll out the dough, that is, spread it with a rolling pin to the thickness of your little finger.
  • Cut the dough into strips. Roll each strip into a circle.
  • Cover the pan with baking paper and arrange the snails.
  • Brush each snail with egg yolk.
  • Bake at 200 °C for about 20 minutes.
