Although lentils are a grain, it is recommended to combine them with other grains in the same meal. Lentils also go well with eggs and meat. You can also make a salad from lentils. If you are skilled, you can make lentil sprouts, which will take you 5-7 days, then mix them with chopped fresh pepper, boiled egg, a little olive oil, garlic and parsley.

A good option is boiled lentils, which you can also mix with the mentioned foods. Of course, let your imagination run wild, combine your favorite vegetable flavors, because there are no special restrictions.

<strong>Preparation: </strong>

If you are serving lentils as a main course, then boil them for 10-15 minutes, then mix them with sautéed vegetables (onion and garlic, carrots, parsley, celery) and then cook for as long as necessary.

Lentil spread

Cook the lentils (don't forget to soak them in water overnight). Saute one zucchini in a little olive oil. Put cooked lentils, sautéed zucchini, one or two cloves of garlic, some parsley, juice of ½ lemon, one peeled tomato, salt and pepper to taste in a blender. Blend everything and use as a spread.
