Strudel with walnuts.

Strudel with walnuts, ingredients for the dough:

  • 200 ml of milk,
  • 2 haha,
  • 20 g of yeast,
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar,
  • lemon zest,
  • a pinch of salt,
  • 1 dl of oil and
  • about 700 g of flour.

Strudel with walnuts, filling ingredients:

  • 400 g of ground walnuts
  • 8 spoons of sugar and
  • half a teaspoon of cinnamon.

Strudel with walnuts, preparation:

  • Dissolve yeast with sugar and a little flour in a little milk. Add the rest of the milk, eggs, lemon zest, oil, flour, salt and knead the dough.
  • Leave covered to rise and stir.
  • Divide the dough into four parts.
  • Separate the first part of the dough sprinkled with cinnamon, sugar and walnuts. Wrap in a roll. Do the same with the remaining three parts of the dough. Cover the pan with baking paper, arrange the strudels.
  • Let them rest for ten minutes.
  • Turn on the oven at 200 degrees, then reduce it to 180 degrees and bake the strudel, just be careful not to overcook it.
