  • 200 g of fat
  • 150 g of powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
  • 9 cups of cold water
  • 550 g of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • powdered sugar for rolling
  • 1 vanilla sugar
  • plum jam
  1. Beat fat and sugar until foamy, then add vinegar, cold water, baking soda and flour. Knead the dough and let it stand in the cold for 1 hour.
  2. Then divide the dough into two parts and roll each part into a 21×30 cm plate. Divide each part into three equal parts. Put jam on each part, then fold and divide into 6 parts.
  3. Arrange the strudels in a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake at 170 degrees for 20 minutes. Roll the finished strudels in powdered sugar mixed with vanilla sugar.
