COMPETITION FOR THE BEST GIBANICA OF SERBIA – Gibanica with chopped skins.

Gibanica with chopped skins, ingredients:

  • 2 eggs,
  • 1/2 kg of bark,
  • 400 g of feta cheese,
  • 1,5 dl yogurt,
  • 2 dl milk,
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder,
  • 1 teaspoon of salt,
  • 1 dl of oil,
  • 2 dl of sour water.

Gibanica with chopped bark, preparation:

  • Mix oil, salt and sour water.
  • Mix cheese, yogurt, eggs, milk and baking powder.
  • Place 4 crusts in the baking tray so that they cover the bottom and hang over the sides.
  • Sprinkle with 4-5 spoons of oil and sour water.
  • Leave 1 crust aside.
  • Roll up the other peels, cut them into strips and arrange them in a baking tray.
  • Sprinkle with 4-5 spoons of sour water.
  • Return the peels, cover with oil and sour water and spray the entire peel on top.
  • Pierce with a toothpick and bake for 25 minutes at 200 degrees.
