We present you a tiramisu recipe according to our taste. Tiramisu cake is traditionally made in a round shape, but due to the layering of the cake, it is more convenient to use a rectangular or square cake shape. Tiramisu belongs to the category of multi-layer cakes.

Ingredients

  • Mascarpone cheese, 500 gr
  • Pavesini biscuits, as needed
  • eggs, 3 pieces
  • sugar, 3 spoons
  • espresso coffee for 6 people
  • cocoa powder

Preparation

Step 1

Make the creamy part first. Separate the yolks from the whites. In a mixing bowl, add egg yolks and sugar. Beat well with a mixer to make a uniform whitish mass. Slowly add the Mascarpone cheese, a little at a time, and continue mixing with the mixer until all the cheese is mixed. In a separate bowl, whip the egg whites into a stiff foam. When the egg whites are beaten, without a mixer, using a large mixing spoon, slowly mix them into the egg yolk and cheese mixture, gently turning them over.

Step 2

Soak Pavesini biscuits in espresso coffee. To taste, you can add one tablespoon of cognac to the espresso coffee (especially if the cake is not eaten by children).

Step 3

Arrange a layer of sponge cake, then a layer of cream, and finish with the cream. Sprinkle the top layer of cream well with sifted cocoa. Cool well and serve cut into large cubes. Pleasant!
