At the award ceremony held at the Madlenianum opera house and theater, the Tourist Organization of Serbia, after more than a year's break, awarded the Tourist Flower award to the best in Serbian tourism for 2021.
It won the title of the best tourist organization Tourist organization of the city of Čačak.
The best tourist event is Leskovac Barbecue, while the agency was declared the best receptive agency Kontiki Travel.
The Tourist Flower Award for the best hotel went to the Kopaonik Hotel Kraljev Chardak.
In the catering accommodation category, Tourist flower she took it Sunny river, while Zlatibor was declared the best organization for its contribution to the improvement of tourism in Serbia Gold Gondolaa.
This year's best individual is Ranko Milanović from Tara National Park.
This year's special recognition was awarded to the Business Association of the Hotel and Hospitality Industry HOURS and the National Association of Travel Agencies yuta.
The best prizes were awarded by the director of the Tourist Organization of Serbia, Marija Labović, M.Sc, who on this occasion reflected on the challenges brought by the pandemic and the ways in which the Tourist Organization of Serbia adapted to the new situation, as well as on the results achieved during 2021. She announced and presented the new tourism brand of Serbia, which will be implemented next year.
The assistant to the Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications also addressed those present. Mrs. Jelena Marinković Orlić, who emphasized the importance of the joint work of all stakeholders in Serbian tourism.
Tourist flower was awarded for the 36th time this year. More than 70 candidates were registered for the competition. The decision on the award winners was made by the jury composed of: Prof. Dr. Slobodan Čerović , dean of the University's Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management Singidunum, Ivan Trifunović, director of the Vrnjačka Banja Tourist Organization, Ana Emić, journalist at Radio Television of Serbia, Aleksandra Urošević, member of the Board of Directors of the Tourist Organization of Serbia, Vesna Zlatić assistant director of the Tourist Organization of Serbia. Part of the jury was also the online audience, which is through the website turisticcvet.rs voted for the best over 20.000 times.
One of the nominated events in the race for the best was TEST – Pasta and Bread Dough Festival.
