Some of the best painters and photographers from Serbia, as well as the ambassador of Croatia in Serbia, will donate their works at a humanitarian online sale on the website http://www.diplomacyandcommerce.rs/serbian-artists-for-glina-petrinja-and-sisak/ and the entire income will be donated to the population affected by the devastating earthquake that hit Croatia in December.

Robert Choban, President of Color Press Group, the creator and initiator of this humanitarian auction, points out that in moments and times like this it is important to be united. "At the initiative of several Serbian artists who wanted to donate their works for the benefit of the residents of Glina, Petrinja, Sisak and other places in Croatia that were affected by the earthquake, we decided that our magazine Diplomacy&Commerce would launch this humanitarian action. We contacted the ambassador of Croatia, Hidayet Biščević, who also paints, and he decided to donate four of his canvases for this purpose. We invited representatives of companies and foreign embassies in Belgrade to join the action, and I believe that we will collect a good amount of money so that those affected by the earthquake can be provided with what they need most at that moment. The online sale of paintings and photographs by Serbian artists will last until January 25, after which buyers will be able to download the purchased paintings and photographs and mingle with the artists who donated them at a reception at the Croatian ambassador's residence during a program led by actor and singer Frano Lasić. We believe that the role of the media is to be the bearers of humanitarian initiatives in situations like this, and Diplomacy & Commerce magazine, which is published in both Belgrade and Zagreb, sees this as its mission. concluded Choban.

The action that starts today was joined by H.E. Hidajet Biščević, Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Serbia, who, as he describes himself, is an "amateur painter" i.e. in his free time, he is engaged in painting, or, in his words, "trying" and most often gives away paintings at similar charity auctions.

"I am especially proud, for example, of the donor auction in Tajikistan, when about fifty of my paintings were sold and seven kindergartens in the capital Dushanbe and its surroundings were equipped with the collected money." On the occasion of the start of the Belgrade action "Artists for Glina, Petrinja and Sisak", Ambassador Biščević pointed out that he especially thanks the artists from Serbia for the wonderful gesture that in this way helps the population affected by the earthquake.

Let's unite in humanity - join the action to help the population of Glina, Petrinja and Sisak!
