Vegetables - Verica Poznanović - Recipes and Cookbook online

Zeljanica - this is my mother Mirjana's version of Zeljanica, adapted to life in Vojvodina.

This is a story of courage and cowardice, blood and death, a story of life, a story of endless sorrow, helplessness, the search for truth. A storm was raging inside her, she was first broken, depressed and unhappy. She has been angry for a long time now, with every inhale and exhale she expelled sadness and only sadness.

The month of May is the month of happiness for some and for me it used to be the month of beautiful events, but now it is the month of greatest sadness. I love September, August, November, December...

The lilac blossomed, the white lilac... I made a vegetable garden. If you only knew how much strength and effort such a simple recipe needs for me right now. But I'm trying really hard.

Vegetables, ingredients:

  • 3 eggs,
  • 1 cup of oil,
  • 300 g of cheese,
  • 2 dl sour cream,
  • 300 g of Swiss chard or spinach,
  • salt to taste
  • 2 dl yogurt
  • 1/2 cube of yeast or one bag of dry yeast i
  • enough flour so that the mixture is neither very thick nor thin, I put about 500 g.

Vegetables, preparation:

  • Chop Swiss chard, beat eggs, add sour cream, cheese, yogurt, salt, yeast and finally flour.
  • Mix everything well.
  • Grease the pan, pour the mixture and bake in a heated oven until nicely browned.
