Pumpkin Pie - Snezana Knežević - Recipes and Cookbook online

Pumpkin pie - autumn has begun and the pumpkins have given birth well. I have a kind in my garden that is dry and great for pies, so I'm sharing the recipe with you. 

Preparation 20 minutes
Baking for about 30-40 minutes
For 24 pieces

Pumpkin pie, ingredients for 6 rolls:

  • 500 g bark or 12 leaves
  • 1 kg of dry grated pumpkin
  • 3 bags of vanilla sugar
  • 100-200 g of raisins
  • cinnamon to taste
  • about 2 dl of oil

Pies pumpkin, preparation:

  • Take 2 peels each, spray with oil, spread the pumpkin over the whole peel, sprinkle with vanilla sugar, raisins and cinnamon, if you like.
  • Roll up and place in an oven tray lined with baking paper that you have sprayed with oil.
  • Do the same with the other crusts.
  • Spread the roll pie with oil and sprinkle with vanilla sugar.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 30-40 minutes.
  • Cover the roast and leave to cool.
  • Cut into slices and serve.

It is not necessary to add sugar and semolina because this type of pumpkin is sweet and dry and does not release juice during baking. If you like it sweeter, you can add sugar or sprinkle it with powdered sugar.
