THE BEST GIBANICA CONTEST OF SERBIA - Gibanica.

Gibanica, ingredients:

  • 500 g thick pie crusts
  • 500 g of full-fat cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 cup of sour water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 200 g of cream
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Gibanica, preparation:

  • Mix well the eggs, yogurt, water, oil, salt into a uniform mass. Add shredded cheese and cream.
  • In a round pan. which is previously lubricated. one by one the waxed crust is thinned out until all are used up.
  • Then cover the gibana well with the dressing.
  • Bake for about 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 degrees.
