COMPETITION THE BEST GIBANICA OF SERBIA - gibanica, Verica Poznanović.

Gibanica, ingredients:

  • 500 g thick pie crusts
  • 500 g of full-fat cheese, this time Sjenica
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 cup of sour water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 200 g of cream, this time cream
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Gibanica, preparation:

  • Mix the eggs, yogurt, water, oil, salt well and add the chopped cheese and cream to the homogeneous mass.
  • In a round pan, which is previously greased, one by one the waxed crust is thinned out, until all are used up.
  • Then, cover the gibanica well with the dressing.
  • Bake for about 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 degrees.
