Today, when I took it out of the fridge, it turned into a full-on cake. However, I took it to the neighbors and they were very happy. They said the taste was phenomenal. I know she's succeeded when she eats it, and her lips stick together, and that's the kind of taste that makes you sick.

  • tomato juice
  • rice (or tarana)
  • so

  1. I put small pieces in cold water and when it boils, I throw away the first water. It doesn't have to be done, but it smells too strong to me, so I always think that if I throw away the first boiled water, it will reduce the smell. Then I pour cold water again and put it to boil. As soon as it starts to boil, the foam rises, which I use a small brush to skim from above, but reduce the temperature so that the water does not become cloudy.
  2. When there is no more foam, I add tomato juice, and when it boils, I add onion, greens and turnips, all just cleaned. Adjust all quantities as you wish. Nothing is off limits.
  3. Add the spices, cover and let it boil slowly until the meat is well cooked.
  4. When the meat is ready, I take out the black onion, sorghum and green onion. I don't know why I do it, but I take it out and blend it in a blender, then put it back. Sometimes I add rice, and sometimes this pasta that I put in now. It cooks quickly and that's it.
Today, I poured it into a zinnia and left it in the freezer to see how it will look tomorrow when it turns into peaches. If it turns out as I imagined, it will be a new recipe for pihtija.
