THE BEST GIBANICA COMPETITION OF SERBIA - harmonica gibanica - Milica Živković.
Harmonica gibanica, ingredients:
- 400 g of bark for gibanica,
- 300 g of cheese (feta, small cheese)
It is necessary for the dressing:
- 2 eggs,
- 4 tablespoons of sour cream or thick yogurt,
- 1 dl of oil,
- 2 dl milk,
- 2 dl of sour water,
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder and
- 1 teaspoon of salt, if the cheese is not salty.
Harmonica gibanica, preparation:
- Spread the crust and sprinkle a little cheese all over the crust, stack like an accordion and place in a baking tray.
- Do the same with all the other crusts.
- The amount depends on the size of the tray.
- Beat eggs with cream, add oil, salt, milk, sour water and baking powder.
- Pour over the crusts and leave to soak until the oven heats up to 200 degrees.
- Bake for 20 minutes and leave another 10 minutes in the oven.
- Remove from the oven, cover with a cloth, cool a little and cut into pieces and serve with yogurt and sour milk.
