The most beautiful Slavic cake - the best traditional recipe in 2022 is the Slavic cake made by Suzana Kosanović!
The Recipes and Kuvar online portal, in cooperation with TESTIVAL, and with the support of RTS "Šarenica", selects the best recipe of the year for the ninth time. This time, the theme was "the most beautiful celebration cake".
In the period from 01.11.2022. until January 31.01.2023, XNUMX, on the portal Recipes and Kuvar online, as well as on social networks, many traditional recipes have been collected as part of the competition for the most beautiful Slavic cake in Serbia. The shortlist included seven recipes that had the most support on social networks.
The special jury of the Recipes and Kuvar online portal evaluated all the recipes from the narrowest selection, and it was composed of:
- Danijela Paracki, graphic designer, independent applied artist, member of ULUPUDUS (president of the jury)
- Dr. Biljana Đorđević, museum advisor of the National Museum in Belgrade,
- Jelena Rupnik, leading analyst at Tomato Tomato Communications and journalist,
- Dragana Ilić, deputy editor-in-chief of the portal.
All members of the jury are also members of the Council of the TESTIVAL festival.
For the most beautiful Slavic cake in Serbia and the best traditional recipe for 2022, the recipe for the Slavic cake of Suzana Kosanović from Kljajićevo was declared, with a total average score of 9,7 (out of a possible 10,0). Second place was won by: Verica Poznanović, Vesna Pavlović and Dragana Lukić.
We would like to thank all the participants and announce a new contest for the selection of the best traditional recipe of the year for the end of this year.
Portal Recipes and Kuvar online, together with the TESTIVAL Festival and with the support of RTS "Šarenica", will continue efforts to preserve the traditional food culture of Serbia, as an inseparable part of Serbia's intangible cultural heritage.
