The healthiest thing would be to completely eliminate salt from use, or to reduce its consumption to a minimum. Here are the problems it can cause.

If taken in large quantities and daily, salt has a bad effect on the heart and blood vessels and causes high blood pressure.

There is sodium in salt, a large amount of sodium in the kidneys causes the formation of sand or even stones.

Salt collects fluid in the body and causes a feeling of bloating. In addition, it slows down the metabolism, which is not good at all, especially if you have a problem with excess weight.

When you eat something salty and then drink a glass of water, if you are still thirsty, you may have diabetes, so you should see a doctor.
