The latest MICHELIN Guide for Belgrade for 2024, announced in December, has five new restaurants on the list, bringing the total to 22 recommended restaurants. Representatives of METRO Cash & Carry Serbia this year visited all the restaurants in the Guide and presented the famous MICHELIN tiles, which are a kind of sign of the quality, diversity and creativity of the food and services that these restaurants offer.
"For the third year in a row, the selection of the MICHELIN Guide for Belgrade records an increase in the number of recognized and chosen restaurants, which is an indicator of the positive trend in the development of the quality and diversity of the domestic hospitality industry and the Serbian gastronomic scene. METRO, as a wholesaler and partner of the MICHELIN Guide, is extremely proud to nurture partnerships with its professional customers, among whom are well-known restaurants in Belgrade. Of course, in addition to pride, we also feel an extreme responsibility to ensure that all partnerships are an example of how, as a true wholesaler, we can sustainably and long-term supply and support the HoReCa sector through our assortment and services. In the MICHELIN Guide for Belgrade for 2024, there are Istok, Pinot, Klub Književnika by Branko Kisić, Na Ćošku and L'Adresse - as five newly selected restaurants, of which Istok received the Bib Gourmand label, which signifies excellent quality at an excellent price . In addition to the new restaurants in the selection, there are also establishments whose quality was recognized during the previous two years, as long as the MICHELIN Guide for Belgrade existed. Among them are SkyLounge, Metropolitan Grill, Twenty Two, Bela Reka, Comunale Caffè e Cucina, Ebisu, Enso, Gušti mora, Homa, Iva New Balkan Cuisine, JaM, Langouste, Legat 1903, Magellan, Mezestoran Dvorište, Salon 1905 and The Square . Restaurant Bela Reka continues to be praised for its commitment to sustainability, with a special emphasis on the use of local products and the preservation of tradition.
Representatives of the METRO Cash & Carry Serbia company during their visits to the restaurants expressed their desire that the local gastronomic scene continue to develop, as well as that all the restaurants recognized so far continue with innovations and nurturing the quality of the gastronomic offer and catering services in Serbia.
