Belgrade, 29.02.2020. - As part of the official program Festival of dough, pasta and bread TESTIVAL 2020, the final evaluation was held and the best traditional recipes of domestic Serbian cuisine were announced.
The finalists of the competition for the selection of the best traditional recipe were evaluated by an expert jury consisting of Dragan Đorđević, president of the jury (president of the Association of Authentic Hedonists - AAH!), Miodrag Ilić, vice president of the jury (responsible editor of the portal Recipes and Kuvar online and president of the Association Testival), Anka Grbović ( Digital4Global), Jelena Rupnik (Tomato Tomato Communications), Dr. Slađana Šobajić (Professor of the Faculty of Pharmacy in Belgrade), Milvoje Tomašević (writer and journalist), Anja Aranđelović (Dorćol Platz), Srba Jovanović, (founder of the Balkan Cheese festival), Radomir Mijić ( mechanical engineer), Dragana Ilić (secretary of the Testival Association) and Dejan Ilić (vice president of the Testival Association).
Konkurs for the selection of the best traditional recipe of domestic Serbian cuisine was launched on the Recipes and Kuvar online portal on February 26, 2019 and lasted until December 31, 2019.
All the finalists received valuable gifts from the organizers, which were provided by the companies Metro Cash & Carry Serbia, Oglagiart i Coffee beans.
The best traditional recipe of local Serbian cuisine is: lean dry paprika stuffed with seeds, Gvozdene Živković!
The audience award, by voting through the Facebook application, was won by Gvozdene Živković's recipe for lean dry pepper stuffed with seeds.
Given that Gvozdena Živković achieved double first place last year, she set a kind of record and a high bar for all future competitions for the best recipe.
All the finalists of the competition for the selection of the best traditional recipe of domestic Serbian cuisine in 2019 were:
- Gvozdena Živković, lean dry pepper stuffed with seeds
- Vesna Pavlović, priganice
- Verica Poznanović, vegetable gardener
- Danijela Žikić, pre-branny of Gravče na tavče
- Vesna Marošanin, cake with plums
- Snežana Kitanović, Constantinople wafer
The organizers of the announcement were the portal Recipes and Cookbook online, Association of Authentic Hedonists i Festival of dough, pasta and bread Testival.
