Simple pancakes that always succeed.
Simple pancakes, ingredients:
- 100 g flour
- 2 large eggs
- 300 ml milk
- 1 tablespoon sunflower or vegetable oil, plus a little more for frying
- a pinch of salt
- jam, marmalade, to taste
- powdered sugar, to taste
Simple pancakes, preparation:
- Put 100 g of plain flour, 2 large eggs, 300 ml of milk, 1 tablespoon of sunflower or vegetable oil and a pinch of salt in a bowl or a large jug, then whisk into a smooth mixture. This should be similar in appearance to cream.
- Leave to rest for 30 minutes, if you have time, or start baking immediately.
- Place a medium-sized frying pan over medium-high heat and carefully wipe it with an oiled kitchen towel.
- When the pan is hot, cook the pancakes for 1 minute on each side until golden, using about half a ladleful of batter per pancake. Keep them warm in the oven on low while you make the rest.
- Serve with jam or marmalade, dusted with powdered sugar (optional) or any of your favorite toppings.
- Once they are cool, you can lay them between parchment paper, then wrap in cling film and freeze for up to two months.
