Healthy biscuits for babies - when babies start teething, many pediatricians will advise you to start giving your baby biscuits and most often parents start buying different types of biscuits.
However, all store-bought ones contain a lot of sugar and can disrupt the baby's diet as well as increase the risk of tooth decay. Here is a quick recipe for moms for homemade healthy buckwheat.
- 25 ml olive oil (extra virgin, previously cooled (30 minutes in the fridge))
- 50 g corn flour (finely ground)
- 0,5 pieces of banana (smashed)
- 1 apple (smaller, finely grated)
- Mix the previously cooled olive oil in the refrigerator and the other ingredients until you get a uniform mass.
If the oil is real extra virgin, it will thicken in the cold.
- Leave the mass in the refrigerator for about half an hour to combine.
- If you have molds or molds, pour the mixture into the molds. If you don't have one (like me), you can take out a smaller or larger amount of mass and shape it into a biscuit with a knife or spatula. Arrange on baking paper in a baking tray.
- Place in a preheated oven and bake at 180c for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Wait for them to cool before giving to baby.
You can also use other fruits according to your imagination and what you have previously introduced to the baby.
A baby who is still eating porridge should be given buckwheat with mandatory supervision, because there is always a danger that they will tear off a piece that is too large.
You can make these biscuits for older children as well.
