COMPETITION FOR THE BEST SERBIA GIBANICA - rose gibana.
Gibanica rose, ingredients:
- 500 g pie crust
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups of yogurt
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups of oil
- baking powder
- a bit of salt
To charge:
- 400 g of small cheese
Coating:
- one egg yolk
- spoon of water
- Sesame
Gibanica rose, preparation:
- Make a mixture of eggs, yogurt, flour, oil. Add baking powder and salt. Coat the crust with this mixture, then put another one on top.
- Spread that crust, then fold them together in half.
- Then, coat again, then fold in half. Then, spread, then sprinkle with fine cheese.
- Fold it in half again, then roll it into a circle and arrange it in a tray.
- Repeat the process until you have used all the rind and cheese.
- Coat the circles with egg yolk mixed with a little water and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake at a temperature of 190 for about 30 min. Pleasant!
